Missile Support

Awesome 8R
"Lil' Sal"

As a large volume missile support you are vulnerable to enemy lights and becoming isolated.  Stick close to your team mates so that they can help protect you from an enemy light lance.  Firing all three LRM15 at the same time allows for you to overwhelm enemy AMS, while firing the launchers in chain fire provides a constant barrage to pummel your targets.  As with any LRM focused mech Adv. Target Decay is a must.

Shadowhawk 2D2
"Lurm-hawk"

You are a fast moving LRM support.  A top speed of 97kph along with your Jump jet capabilities give you a unique opportunity to re-position and fire constantly.  When playing mobile LRM's always keep looking to deny your enemy cover.  While most cover works from one angle a fast lrm mech like you can shift to the side and throw lrms that will hit the target and drive them back out into the open for your larger missile platforms or directfire mechs to strike.  LRM5 launchers are directly absorbed by one active AMS system so keep that in mind when firing on a target, chainfire is very effective at disrupting their vision and aim, but if you see an AMS equipped mech alphastrike your four launchers instead.

Cataphract 1X
"The 1-X"

A powerful Inner Sphere Brawler this build of the Cataphract packs a punch.  You can certainly be a solid "tip of the spear" but backing up an Assault brawler is a great place for you.  Watch your targets data for weak points and focus them down quickly with an AC20 and 5ML combo.  As a brawler your objective is to absorb and deal damage so time your shots and spread damage on your mech effectively.

Atlas D-DC
"The Kracken"

Like your little buddy the 1X you are a Brawler, and a fearsome sight to the enemy team.  Often leading the charge your AC20 and srm6's cooldowns will allow you to twist your torso quickly to absorb damage on your less important arms which only house a medium laser each.  Before pushing into the enemy force be sure that you're not alone, and until you reach the enemy do your best to keep your team shrouded in the ECM blanket 180m around you.

Here will be information posted about how to play this config.

Jenner 7F
"Harasser"

Currently the deadliest of the light mechs your goal beyond scouting and drawing limited attention for distraction is to kill things.  Heat management is a learned skill, and this mech will certainly make you practice it.  Setting one group to Alpha and one to chain-fire will give you options in case you find yourself running abit too warm.  Constantly be on the hunt for open components by changing targets as you skirt around the edge of the battlefield.  Find vulnerable mechs with stripped legs, or possibly an exposed XL engine that your 30point alpha can take out, and  move on to the next target.  As with any light mech Speed is Life so don't stop or stand still for that perfect shot, because odds are someone will see you and take you down before you can react.

Kitfox
"Recon"

As a clan light your limited on speed, but this can help you stay out of trouble if you keep in mind this limitation when scouting.  This build is ideal for supporting your team when you know there are LRM mechs in your group.  Clan NARC possesses a superior range to the IS version (600 vs 450) Combine this with the 750m range on your tag and hopefully you won't ever need to get close to the enemy.  Observing and marking targets is your goal.  Keep your silhouette along a hill, try to land a NARC and get back to hiding, relying on your ECM to cover your movement.  Your ERPPC has a great range to it, but use it sparingly while targeting enemies, anyone paying attention will trace it back to your location, same with your TAG.  If you find yourself alone you have your ECM to conceal you and allow you to snipe for abit before they close, the machine guns should help in stripping anything left off of the mechs your team has been working on.  NARC Module is strongly advised.
