The Phoenix Guard was originally created as COL. Black Phoenix's personal guard lance.  Overtime it evolved into the command staff for the Alegro Guard training cadre.

​

In addition to training and leading the cadets as they integrate into their future companies, the Phoenix Guard helps organize the competitive teams of the Aces Wild.   Focusing on competitive strategies and tactics as well as coordinating logistics and information regarding upcoming MWO competitive events. 

​

Phoenix Guard also assists in managing the Aces Wild hosted Inner Sphere Coalition Competitive Tournament, whenever it is held.
