ACES WILD 

Do you have an easy-going attitude teamed with a deep-seated desire to blow up people you've never met?  Do you enjoy raining fire down upon the unrighteous using giant stompy robots?  Then join the Aces Wild!  We have a place for those with a sense of humor and an itchy trigger finger.

However, we have some requirements:

  • This is a military simulation styled unit, thus you need to accept the concept of ranks, chain of command and organized companies.

  • We fight as a team, so you are expected to voice-communicate using Discord.

  • We have active companies that are that - active.  You must be able to attend weekly drop nights.

  • We do not allow double clanning.  Before applying you must not be registered with any other units, clans or guilds within the MechWarrior Online community.

  • We are a North American-centered unit.  While we may have late-night or daytime companies, you should expect to drop during NA evenings - 8:00pm to 10:00pm ET.

  • You must be 18 or older.  Exceptions are made for applicants who have an adult family member already in the unit.

Enlistment Process

 The following are the steps to join the Aces Wild:

  • The Applicant must register on our Discord server.

  • The Applicant must submit a completed Enlistment Form via the button below.

    • By submitting an Enlistment Form, the Applicant is agreeing to everything listed in this section.

  • The enlistment form will be reviewed by the Regimental command staff and either approved or denied based on the information listed. If Denied, the Applicant will be made aware of the reason.

  • If Accepted, the Applicant will be made a Cadet and added to the Site Roster.

  • The unit's Recruitment Officer will send the new Cadet a welcome letter via Discord DM to brief them on the basics. The Cadet will be given probationary access to Discord channels.

  • Cadets will serve a probationary period of thirty days, during which time it is up to the them to drop with the different Companies and learn where they would fit in best - both in play style and drop time/schedule.

  • During this thirty day period, cadets will not be made full members, will not be added to the in-game roster and will have limited access to Discord. 

  • After thirty days the Cadet can ask to join a company.  If too much time passes without finding a company to call home they will be removed from the unit.

  • Once accepted into a company they will automatically be promoted to Junior MechWarrior, be made a full member and given an invite to the in-game roster.

 

Additional Information:

  • While a Cadet, you should be getting to know the unit, settling in on the website, figuring out which type of battlefield role you like with us, and what Company you want to join that has open slots.

  • We try to keep a friendly attitude here. Each company within the Aces has its own tempo and feel. Some are very laid back, some are more hardcore.  Try to find a Company that suits the environment you are looking for while you are a Cadet.
