Kinkaid II was garrisoned by Federated Suns forces until the end of the Reunification War in 2585; after peace was declared on the 1st of August 2585 with the enactment of the Treaty of Cerberus, Kinkaid returned to Outworlds Alliance control, and would remain an Outworlds Alliance world throughout the Star League era and beyond.
